So I moved and yes I'll have content to be uploaded this weekend when I get my Internet back, but I've noticed over this past week without internet that we get quite bored sometimes.

I think it's similar to a double edge sword, on one side it's horrible to be bored and you start to feel lazy or sluggish. On the other side it's a great opportunity to do other things like read, crafts, home projects or finish up those Wii games that you haven't opened yet.

I know I'll enjoy having the internet back and I know the wife will download all the shows from Hong Kong she has missed over the week which will mean I'm without internet for another day but I'll live. It would be nice for everyone though to have their internet cut off just for a week, because a day isn't good enough to realize how much it consumes our day to day lives.

 

So it's been awhile hasn't it, oh sure you missed me but you know we need our space. So I've got the ground work going and will be starting a few things up for January like my Podcast for developers, new developers project and more portfolio stuff. Just a quick FYI, the Projects and Podcast pages aren't up yet but will be soon.

A few details on what's been keeping me busy and why I switched my PHP site to ASP.NET.

• Got Married
• Trying to move to Hong Kong
• Portfolio, because I need a place to show my work
• I'm just better in .NET vs PHP since I use it everyday
• Wanted to get more exposure to ASP.NET MVC
• Need to get on a regular schedule for my projects

So I hope everyone had a great Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. Be sure to have a great New Years, but remember be safe and have a ride home if you're drinking.
